So who was he?

His followers are ready to defend him with their lives.

His enemies are in awe of him.

He has amazed the historians with his impeccable personality.

His face beamed with smile most of the time, his breeze of kindness not just embraced human beings but also animals.

His sense of contentment and patience was remarkable.

He cared for the needy, the poor, the orphans and the widows. He himself lost his father before he was born and he lost his mother when he was around 6 years old. Thus he empathized with the orphans.

His gentleness did not mean he wasn’t brave. He was a strong and a brave warrior on the battle field.

He would cry out to the Lord of Heavens and the Earth “My Ummah! My Ummah! (my nation, my nation)” out of deep concern and wishing for them to be saved from the Hell fire and to have them entered into Paradise of Bliss.

May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon the final Messenger, Muhammad bin Abdullah.

No person sticks to truth and justice except that he will have enemies. The enemies of the Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) always tried to smear his image but it has ALWAYS backfired. This is an example from the early history:

The enemies of Islam tried to stop people coming to Makkah from meeting the Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) by telling them that he is a soothsayer, a liar etc.  A man named Al-Tufayl who was a leader of the Daws tribe set out towards Makkah. The sly enemies approached him and told him to be careful about  the Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) and not to listen to anything what he has to say. So he put cotton in his ears. But when he saw the Prophet (peace be on him) he changed his mind, spoke with him and embraced Islam with the mercy of Allah. (

His blessed tongue only spoke words of goodness and truth. He endured the trials in his life with patience unimaginable and unbearable by any other human being.

He was so honest and true to his promises that he was given the nick name “Al Ameen (The trustworthy) by the people around him (who were non muslims) way before he became a Prophet.

Think about it. For a man who was given the nick name “Al Ameen” , how is it possible for such a person to lie at the age of 40 after not even having a record of lying even once for joke?!

If power and position is the reason why he claimed prophethood as some people falsely accuse, then it’s well known to the world that he lived in poverty and hardship after he became a Prophet (peace be on him) unlike other rulers of the world who crave for power to lead a luxurious life by subjecting their own people to poverty.

If women is what he wanted as some foolish people lie, then he would have made himself free from having to follow the institution of marriage which requires one to be responsible for his wives and look after them and neither would he have married an old woman like Saudah (may Allah be pleased with her) or widows/divorcees (may Allah be pleased with them). And no one would have opposed him since he is the leader. A womanizer doesn’t set a limit to the number of women he wants to flirt around with and neither does he want to be responsible for them. So when foolish people put forth such accusations know that they are lying.

Read and find out  more about him from the proper sources and THEN judge. Don’t lend your ears and eyes to ignorant people who say ‘He was this and that’ but when they are asked to give facts from history they try to make up stories or speak something irrelevant.

Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to Allah, and beg Him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter Paradise and be saved from the punishment of the Hell-fire), for the believers (he  is) full of pity, kind, and merciful. (9:128)

“And We have sent you (O Muhammad) not but as a mercy for the ‘Alamin (includes mankind, animals everything).(21:107)

May Allaah S.W.T shower His peace and blessings on Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and all those who follow his path of goodness and truth.

Assalamu’alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
